The Secret of Dreams is a book written by Yacki Raizuzan, discussing the significance of dreams and how they interconnect with the physical, mental, and astral aspects of an individual.
Synopsis[]
Chapter 1: Dreams[]
The book establishes a divide between the body and mind, or spirit, which occupies the astral plane. "Dreams afford a separation of soul or body." There are three ways to separate the inner person from the outer, physical shell, which include natural sleep, induced sleep (i.e. hypnotism, trance, etc), and death. Man inhabits three worlds: physical, mental, and astral. The physical is a substrate of the mental the same way the mental is a substrate of the astral. It can be imagined like three shells nested within each other, each of higher importance or 'realness' as you enter the center.
There is still however a connection between the physical and the mental and astral, with it being also established there is a connection between the body and the mind, a link that severs only in death. Telepathic communication with the dead may account for some dreams, which others are manifestations of sub-conscious memory. Others are simply a redistribution of events and happenstance that have occurred throughout the prior day.
