    A farm kid from Montana, John Allred played in high school bands and local acts in the late s, getting more serious about his music in the early 'Seventies. Along the way he caught the attention of promoters working for a talent agency run by Buck Owens, which led to many more high-profile concerts as well as the opportunity to record professionally. His first sessions were in Bakersfield, where he cut a single, and then this album, which was recorded at the RCA studios in Nashville.
