ROCHESTER, NY – September 16, 2023 Albert Demetrius Walker was born October 29, 1968 in Rochester, New York. He is the son of Byron B. Walker and Lula J. (Jackson) Walker. At age six, Albert was baptized at Second Baptist Church in Mumford, NY. Albert attended Wilson Magnet High School where he graduated in 1987. Albert was a multi-sport athlete who played football, indoor/outdoor track and baseball during his high school years. He received a track and field scholarship for the hard work and skills he displayed as a runner. Albert attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and after his freshman year transferred to Delaware State University in Dover, DE where he participated in the school marching band. Albert was a trained musician and enjoyed playing musical instruments such as the French horn, the saxophone, and the trombone. Albert was a veteran of the US Army Reserves where he completed Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ during the summer between his junior and senior year of high school.
