Haiti. Morgan Island that resists tourism
A former pirate 'spot' on the Caribbean beach with 'gilded' beaches known as 'the last virgin island of the Antilles' and long ignored by the rest of the world. Ile-a-Vache, an island five miles off the coast south of Haiti, is (or rather was) a quiet and relatively unknown place that suddenly, with the crisis in the field of tourism, was discovered on the map and on it the "light" of the central government was "turned on" to "revive" the tourism sector there. The government is preparing a million dollar development plan to transform it into the new 'Mecca' of Haitian and Caribbean tourism, but unfortunately the government has forgotten to inform the 14 residents of Sihull about this plan.
